My 89 Corvette convertible with a 150,000 miles and steering and handling is pretty sloppy. I'm getting ready to replace all the bushings, ball joints, tie rods etc., but got stumped on the sway bar bushings while placing my order
Ecklers, Corvette Central and Mid America all show 3 different size poly bushings, 24mm, 26mm, and 30mm. (Ecklers (part #'s 26328, 26329 and 26330)
So the question is, how do I identify which size to use ?

I think you will find that the Base, Z51 and Z52 all had a different size sway bars in the handling packages. If you are unsure, you will have to measure your sway bar. A set of calipers is best for this, but you could also use a open end wrench and keep trying until you get one that fits tight....then look and see what size it is.

OK...So I just had a look around my favourites. I knew I had this info bookmarked some where.. Have a look at this link.

Thanks Brian - that is exactly what I needed.....

I have the same chart buried somewhere and wasn't having any luck googling for it either
