The fob can be programmed to unlock either 1 or both doors. Check the owners manual and it will tell you how to do it. And if you don't like it, it can be programmed to not work at all (my preference!).

Since we are talking about the fob....if I change the battery in the fob, does it have to be re-programmed?
Anybody know the battery part number or where one can be found?
Sorry to hi-jack (sort of), but since this is directly related, thought I would ask in this thread so others can read too.
Also; for those reading, I believe the later fobs have 4 settings:
1-one door + pressing button
2-two doors + pressing button
3-no doors (key only)
4-setting 1 and 2 without pressing button
