As a matter of preference the only thing I will use is Meguiar's. They have several different types depending on what you need. If the leather is dry but NOT ruined, SOAK it in product and wrap a plastic dropcloth around the seat. Put it in the sun and let it sit. It'll soften up. Be patient! Remember that when it softens, keep conditioner on it always. If you put it on and it doesn't soak in, then the leather is telling you it has enough. Wipe off the excess and show. I've done this many times over the years. It beats reupholstering the seats due to neglect. I hope this helps!

Try the website for Doc Baileys. It has products to condition you leather and is a favorite brand for the Harley community.

I have used Griot's Leather Care for several years on my '86.  I put it on only once a year in the Spring.  My leather looks and feel as good as it did when new.

I've tried several products - Zymol and the time tested saddle soap + mink oil.  I find the Zymol treatment quicker/easier, but prefer the mink oil as a real 'treatment', and rely on it for longer storage intervals.

I use the Meguiar's Glod Class Rich Aloe Cleaner and Conditioner. It's a 2 step process, but does a great job. The seats on my '84 were starting to dry out from the CA sun and heat when I bought it, but I used the 2 step process and it's awesome. It cleaned and conditioned the seats, they are very soft again. It does make them a little slippery, but I don't really care about that.
