I guess that now that I have my trans repaired and wanted to go out to dinner with the chief financial officer of the house. I was expecting a nice evening out. However Hals 94 had other ideas. We left the parking lot and drove for 35 minutes before the interior lights went off. When we got home and got out, the lights would not go off. I pulled the batt.ground and waited about 2 minutes and replaced it and still the lights would not go out. I checked the light switch for its location and it was not on the top detent that would have put the them on, I then checked both door switches and they seemed to operate proper. My uneducated guess is the relay that holds the lights on for 30 seconds as a courtesy is the problem. So my question is what is the location of this relay on a 94. I have pulled the two fuses but now I don't have a radio as the antenna motor is on one of the fuses.
I am sure someone has had this problem what do I do next?

I just answered my above question. Not the location of the relay but what made my interior lights stay on. After looking at my service manual I noted that each door lock has a switch for the security system. I have the security system turned off but the switch reports to the ccm which was telling the lights that in spite of the mechanical door ajar switch being closed the door was still open.
I had locked the door at the restaurant and it was the first time that I had used a key to lock the door in over a year. To correct the problem I used the key to rotate the lock 2 or 3 times and the light's went off. I still don't know the location of the relay but I don't need it now.
