I own a 1988 35th anniversary edition with sport seats and 3,800 miles on the odometer. The car is like new. I repaired the lumbar support pumps and now want to change out the lumbar support bladders. Can someone instruct me on how to remove the seat back cushions without damaging them and get them back on the car correctly? The seats are in perfect condition and I am reluctant to mess them up. Can't find any local trim shop to contract with.

on my seats all i have to do is push sideways on the cushion right below the headrest and the cushion pops off. there is a clip on each side that holds the cushion on. hope this helps

Thanks for the quick response.
Did you release the clip by reaching in between the side bolster and center cushion to get to the clip?
Did you need to separate the above pieces by removing hog rings?
What type of device did you use to push on the clip?
How did you avoid damaging the seats?
Was it difficult getting the cushions back into the clips?
These are my worries.

the clip is attached to the seat back. should only have to push on the side of the cushion until one side releases and the whole cushion comes off. you can then lift the bottom cushion and unclip it and take it out too.
