A third 88 KoH has been discovered and is a non-crushed example. It is Black Sapphire Metallic with a black interior with leather sport seats.

Although it only has 13,000 original miles, significant work remains in order to bring it back to its former glory and needed parts acquisition has started.

The first time I read about the 1988 ZR-1 I wondered if it was an April fool’s joke. I was surprised that they were not all crushed. I don’t remember the NCM having one. As far as I’m concerned all C4 ZR-1’s are definitely part of automotive history. It took three companies to create it, first shown overseas and then treated like a stepchild. Even when the new Z06 came out with the twin OHC gm didn’t give credit to their first beautifully engineered and simply beautiful all aluminum twin OHC. Thanks to those that are trying to preserve their history and significance.
