do ALL 1993 headrests have the "40th" embroidered into the material or is it just for the Ruby Red editions? The reason I am asking is I saw a 1993 on E-bay ...white with white leather advertised as an aniversary edition......obviously not the ruby red as I am used to seeing.....just wondering because I have an 88 and it is NOT the aniversary model but made 35th yr....

All of the leather seats in '93 had the 40th emblem on them...the cloth seats did not. Technically, any '93 could be considered an Anniversary model, as could the '78s, '88s, and '03s. In the years that GM built specific Anny models, those are the specific Anniversary cars. For instance, the '88 Annys were a specific RPO code build, where in '78, ALL of the cars were considered anny cars, even tho there was also a specific 25th Anny car in '78.

My '93 has the sport leather seats and YES it does have the 40th embroidery on the head rests but does not have the 40th emblem on the hood,or any where else on the car as it is NOT an anniversary package, mine is color 75u Brilliant Red Met. with black interior. Personally I really like the embroidery , I think it its subtle and classy....defiantly not over done
