I stated in an earlier thread about my headliner repair that I would write a full tutorial with pics.

After I did it all (came out great), I uploaded the pics from the memory card to my desktop...they came out red. Angry

I will take the pics that look decent and still write the tutorial, but, be aware that the quality of pics are crap.
I did send my camera off to Canon last week for a FREE repair...seems they had problems with the image sensors thy used on cameras and video cameras and had an advisory out.

So; when I get the camera back (end of this week or beginning of next) I will re-take some of the pics...it will be the pics of the materials, tools, and the finished targa interior.

Of course; in the end all I can say is, "it wasnt my fault..."  LOL

There is a rumor that the engineer at Canon who designed your camera used to work at GM.  He designed the opti-spark. LOL

LOL

I actually posted the info about Canon in a couple of other forums...they had the exact same problem, and many people had either thrown their cameras away, or stashed them.

After I posted the info, several people called and they too are getting free repairs.

I read your post and asked Canon about the opti-spark problem, the only thing they knew about it was their cameras and video cameras had taken several pictures of the opti....that is; when the cameras were working...Shocked
