Since the wife got her Mustang I decided to hook up on a Mustang forum so i could gather information about the Stang like I do here. What I found was nothing like what we have here, A bunch of b***hy, back biting, little girls with an ego bigger than their cars. They are always squabbling about there mods and which is better, why a Shelby is better than a GT and why a V-6 Pushing 305 Horse Power is not a Mustang because "it's only a V-6" even if it can outrun a 2010 GT.

I am really appreciating this forum for the constant brotherhood and helpfull attitudes of everyone here. It really is a much more joyfull experience to own a Vette than it is to own any other car.

us vette owners here at c4vr (and c3vr) are by far the best. i feel that way because everyone respects the other guys (or gals) vette. we don't squabble over who has the best as any vette is worth having. we all try to help no matter whether it is the "top of the line" or a "basket case".  we all try to help each other. the help i have received from here and c3vr is top of the line and i try to give back the same.

Thanks, Allan!
The Registries(C3VR, C4VR, & C6VR) were all created to give folks like us a place to go where we wouldn't be bashed for asking questions, or belittled because we were somehow, not as "Expert" as others.
We don't like folks causing problems, as it tends to keep others from joining in on the forums, for fear of being flamed, or whatever.
C4VR, like the other Registries, will continue to be "Family Friendly", with some of the best info you'll find anywhere, but it all depends on YOU, the Member, to keep it going. As Dave(eddie20890) said, we ain't here to determine who has the "Bestest, fastest, prettiest" Corvette....because they're ALL special in their own ways.
Thanks to the Membership at C4VR for making it what it is...a nice, peaceful place to visit to share info on the '84-'96 Corvette!

I agree, this will be what we make it.  As long as we encourage people to ask questions, share knowledge and keep the "my car is better than yours" mentality away, I have high hopes.
I like ALL vettes. Smile

I bought my first Vette 40 years ago this year.  "Traded" my first wife in on a brand new 1971 Stingray convertible.  She decided to "go home to Momma" claiming that I didn't pay enough attention to her.  I'm sure many of you have heard that one before.  At the time, I was in a very intense Navy school that required tons of homework every night.  I told her before we got married that if she ever went home to Momma, that it would be a "one-way trip", and it was.  Loaned her my sea bag, put her on a plane and bought my first Vette the next day.  A move that I have never regretted, and now, 7 Corvettes later, I have a absolutely great wife and we will be celebrating our 37th anniversary in May!  Oops!  I got a bit off topic there.  I joined my first Corvette forum in the early 1990's when the Internet consisted of bulletin boards and have always found the vast majority of Corvette forum members to be extremely helpful, tolerant of their fellow Corvette owners.  As a matter of fact, I am "Vette-sitting" an 88 convertible that belongs to a friend that I met on a Corvette forum many years ago.  Thumbs Up

I have met some really outstanding crazies at the C3VR gatherings and have loved every minute of it! Much of the credit for the civility of this sight and C3Vr starts with Adam and the moderators, Adam's Apple, and Norsky to name a couple. But mostly, I think we do a really good job both here and on C3VVR of policing ourselves. Here in Minnesota the joke goes, "My wife said it was either fishing or me, and I'm sure gonna miss her."

Kudos to all that manage, maintain and have input to this site. I visit regularly, contribute when I can but soak up as much knowledge as possible because the way I see it NO ONE has these cars covered bumper to bumper...thanks again to all!

Fellow members,

I concur with everyone's comments. I am new to the forum (Dec. '10), but I can honestly say that everyone here is respectful and willing to help each other. Every question that I have ask, the members have been more than willing to help. Unlike some other forums where people come back with a sarcastic or disrespectful comment.
Ladies and gentleman, I am proud to be a part of this forum. And as mentioned in a previous post it is up to us to keep it this way.

Thank you
