It sounds like a good idea..although it would depend where and when.  A suggestion would be  several "gatherings" in different parts of the country to cut down on travel.
Love the Bowling Green idea!  (can't see photo that clearly.  Sometime I would be interested in hearing about your wheels and brakes.  Looks good in photo!
The wheels are Chrome ZR1 rims, the brakes are drilled/slotted rotors with red Caliper Covers...

The regional gatherings sound like the best plan to minimize travel distances.  We could have one at the Corvette Museum for those of us who live within a reasonable distance.  We live about 125 from the museum.

Vette(s): I have a 1996 Collector Edition coupe with the 6 speed/LT4 engine. Looks and runs like new. 203 coupes were exported to Canada for 1996 and of those, only 83 of them had the Z15 option.
Yes, I know I'd be very interested in showing up. I think regional ones would probably be best for most of us.

A C-4 gathering would be3 GREAT!  I have attended the C-4 Gathering a the Corvette museum in Bowling Green the past 2 years.  It is fun and interesting especially to meet Dave McCellan who was the chief engineer for the C-4.  I enjoyed the poker run and the BBQ run.  LETS GET TOGETHER!

Looks like the "Might be fun"s outnumber the "Sure"s. Might be best to kick around some ideas about maybe "piggy backin" on another event, such as Carlisle....

Vette(s): 1995 Coupe Red, automatic, all original, haven't changed a thing -- except the tires, battery, stuff like that. You know what I mean!

Okay, I'm a little slow at responding to somethings but here's my response anyway!

I love the idea of a gathering, but when you all talk about a show I kinda bulk.  I love my Corvette and try hard to keep it looking nice, but have discovered when some Corvette folks talk about a show they expect your car to be in pristine condition.  Went to a show and couldn't join in because my car didn't meet the requirements.  So, I'm all for a gathering, I'd love to met others, check out your rides but...

Love my C4!
