For sure a gathering would be of great interest, and I would love to join in...... but like the others, we need dates and places to make a firm commitment...... But a c4 drive in would get my juices flowing........

I think a regional gathering is a great idea....it's hard for me to do cross country trips
Remember, there's no place like ~ ;)

Regional with a little competitive twist to see who can muster the most C4s! There is also a C4/ZR1 gathering at the NCM in May too!
FYI: There is a C4 Gathering planned for the Corvette Museum co hosted by the ZR1 Net Registry, and the Grand Sprot Registry. Dates are May 17-19, 2012. I believe that this part of the Corvette Family has been split off from the Corvette Bash at the Museum 4/26-28, 2012 due to the large number of attendees, and limited time and space. I also think there is more of a focus on the C5 and C6. I am planning to attend.
best i recall the first C3 gathering was at BG and look how it keeps growing with each year.
I would love a regional show and gathering! The Bowling Green thing sounds awesome, too. We plan on going there this year for the C4 homecoming, also. So far we have four leaving from North Augusta, SC. I'm game on for putting miles on the Corvette!
This idea seems to have lost it's legs but I think it's a great idea. The up coming C4 gathering at the museum might be an opportunity. It's about as central as you're going to get but still too far to take mine. Still, I'm going to try hard to make the trek with my daily to meet the guys who do and collect on the beer I've been offered. I've been going to Carlisle for number of years but it is a north east affair, not that we couldn't do something since a number of us attend. I'm "in" if at all possible.

Here is a link to the agenda for the C4 Gathering at the Museum in May.
Will be my first time to attend.....
Great part about the C4; there is so much diversity in the cars and owners: from 84-96 quite a generation....from the first C4.....to the first ZR1, multiple drivelines, transmissions, special models, and available power over the years. Quite a slice of history. A wise ex Corvette Manager once told me; "just enjoy it for what it is". As time marches on, they will never be C5's or C'6's, but we can each, in our own way, enjoy them for what they were then and are today.... A big thanks for Dave McLellan, Doug Robinson and all those who made the Corvette C4.
