Nice to have a place dedicated to the cars we love, only hope it does not change.  Others sites started with the same premise but quickly lost focus.
Good to see some familiar faces here, but also hope to see some new blood.
Best of luck, Adam may it flourish.Thumbs%20Up

I've been a member of the C3 Vette Registry (C3VR.com) since 2002 and have never been part of a nicer group of people.  Hope this site follows in C3VR's footsteps.

I also checkin at CF and CAC occasionally but there is too much volume and too much 'bashing/flaming' going on for my taste.  That hasn't been tolerated at C3VR and will not be tolerated here either.

ENJOY...!!!

I'm glad to have created a place for C4s!  I know there isn't one, so I filled that gap.

Norsky is right, C4VR will follow in C3VR's footsteps and will remain focused on C4s...it's build right into the name - C4 Vette Registry - so it can't lose focus.

We will not tolerate spamming, flamming and any other nastiness that can be found on some other sites.  We want to be and stay a friendly place for all.

Please see our Membership Agreement, if you haven't already, to see our stance on this.

Another thing Norsky is correct about... C4VR's main usefulness will come from the members.  So please make sure to be and stay active in the C4VR forums.  The more active they are, the more active they'll get and the more useful be!

Thanks again for being here!

As a member of some other forums,I have noticed that the that to tone and therefore the usefulness of a forum is set by the control exercised by the moderators. Some like the MX5 forum I belong to are excellent, some like one of the Jeep forums not so good.
Adam,I wish you every success with this endeavour,A well tun forun will be an asset to all C4 owners.

At least one of the other sites I'm thinking of had C4 in it's name too.  While I agree that the members make the forum, the owner and mods decide the direction it takes.  A few bad members can and have ruined some of the other ones for me, but ultimately that is either tolerated or controlled by the owner in my opinion.  I wish you nothing but success.

As you can see as rule number 1 of the membership agreement:

1) To be free of ridicule and harassment.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  If you don't agree with someone on a topic, that does not give you the right to ridicule or (especially) harass that person.  You are more than welcome to disagree with someone, but express your opinion in a way that is not offensive to the other person.

This rule applies to the forums AND emails sent to a C4VR Member by a C4VR Member.

If anyone is found to be breaking this rule (1 time), their membership will be terminated!

So, we won't let the riff-raff take over.

Too Late!!!!!!

Just kiddin..
as has been said, the site will be a reflection of it's membership. It's ok to have a little fun here and there, as long as we don't get too personal, or offensive. That ruins it for every one, imho.
Opinions from all should be just that...an opinion.
"I may not agree with what you said, but...."
Lets have fun, and do some C4 Corvetting!!!

It is not in the humans nature to always get along and turn the other cheek, so we need to remember, and adapt to that.
