I am interested in keeping the form an intersting format. I think there is room for any discussion on the C4 as long as we don't flame members, everyone is not as mechanical as others, myself I am intersted in the mechanical area. I love to detailing cruise and trying to find other C4 owners in my area to learn about the car.

Agreed.
Since you (and the folks the signed up before you in the past few days) are the first members here, you'll be able to help steer the direction of this new C4 hangout. We admins and mods will do our best to keep it a fun, friendly, useful place. So we're counting on you, the members, to do your part in helping us reach that goal!
Glad to have you here!

i am a life member of c3vr. as was said it was the best place out there. this will flourish as did the c3 site as some of the great people from c3 are also here.
i have never failed to get some response to my posts and the help was second to none. it is such a great site that at times i even asked questions about my 90 and received the same great help.
even though i just joined today i would like to welcome all the newbies here too.

[QUOTE=toptechx6]Nice to have a place dedicated to the cars we love, only hope it does not change. Others sites started with the same premise but quickly lost focus.
Good to see some familiar faces here, but also hope to see some new blood.
Best of luck, Adam may it flourish.

The site will always be a dedicated C4 site...it's not gonna turn into a "One size fits all" deal. There may be some chatter about other year cars, but there is a specific forum for that.
All C4VR needs to prosper is member participation! Jump in and grab a-hold!
Tell us about your car, how you got it, any weird/funny/interesting tid-bits about it. doing some serious tech? Share it with everyone. This site is for all of us to help each others in the C4 Corvette community.
I'm more familiar with the older cars, myself, but I do own a C4, and do my own wrenching. It would be kewl to learn valuable info/tips from others that have btdt.

I also belong to a few other sites, that I'm not thrilled with right now because of a few members. I hope this site stay friendly, I'll be around as long as it does.

Trust me...this site will stay friendly.
Its one thing to debate statements, its another to flat out argue.

i think it is great to have a place that you dont feel out of place a lot of other vette sites have a lot of c5 and 6 people and they seem to think that the c4s are not up to their standards i just tell them without the c4 they would not have a c5
I agree with all the above sentiments, but we (as members) have to do our part by promoting the site and telling other C4 owners about it. If the occasional dork joins, Adam has made it clear they will be knocked out for bad behavior. So if we want it to flourish, let's display those decals, talk it up at Cruise nights, etc. And of course, patronize the vendors that pay the freight by mentioning we saw their products on here.

Edit: I forgot to mention that you can print a window flyer to put under windshield wipers at cruise nights, go to home, it's on drop down.
