well the 90 is in the shop now getting repaired from the idiot hitting me. they started to take it apart and it is going to be straightened out tomorrow. he said they took measurements today and said it was a little bit out.
i am glad i picked him to do it as he has an 89 that looks exactly like mine (white w/red int).
i can't wait to get it back as i am going thru corvette withdrawal. also having brake problems with my 75 and the proportioning valve i need for that is on back order.

GREAT NEWS...!!! Kinda know what you mean about the withdrawl symtoms tho'. Even with "The Beast" and "BIGBRRD" road-worthy having "The Toy" up on jackstands for the past couple of months has been driving me nutz...!!!

Good to hear about the 90....hope they get it right the first time.
I cant remember exactly; but, try cross referencing that part number....I believe the 4-door Biscaynes or Impalas had a lot of the same part numbers for some of the "not Vette specific" parts.
I know for a fact I have bought truck parts that were the same part number stamped on the part (not part number on box) for my L82....a proportioning valve would not cross truck to vette.
Trust me; just try cross referencing all your non vette specific parts for $$ savings...I've been doing it since the late 70's.

just an update here. car is still in shop and is still being taken apart. this guy is going to paint it the right way. no taping of anything. he is removing everything. kind of surprised me but i am glad. of course it is taking more time than i would like it to but i have to learn patience. got all the extras to him for painting too.
as for the p-valve for the 75 i should have it by thurs or fri. have the old one out and cant wait to drive it again.
