Hey All, We've all seen trailer queens restored at hugh prices win NCRS awards. With your help I'm going to try for a Top Flight and Performance Award with a 60,000mi daily driver that will be driven to the show. NCRS will begin judging '96s after the National in Aug and I'd love to be one of the first. BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!
Here is a list of stuff I haven't been able to locate even on e-bay. Please let me know if you have any of these or know where I can get them.
Valve stem caps(4) black plastic with rounded tip marked DILL 627 50
OBD II rubber cover for plug mounted under dash
Rubber covered wheel weights
AC oil filter, black with silver lable
AC Delco 655 battery
bag stored on top of spare labelled Tire Bag Contained in This Envelope
Chev clamp style upper radiator hose clamp..new ones are screw type
A small screw holding the head of the top ratchet(lost one)
Black plastic emergency brake cover
A wheel locking kit(empty bag would do) and /or Instruction sheet for wheel lock installation
Advice on a shop which can restore the wheels. Edges rough from tire changes and one scratch across the fine machining in the center.

My thanks to anyone who will take time to help. This is a Blk/Blk '96 LT4 which I drove 12,000mi in the last year. Live in Norfolk and snow everywhere around us so haven't gone anywhere this winter. Ready to hit the road this spring. Contact me by PM or e-Mail at bagpipedave@yahoo.com

Thanks, I finally got some pics posted on show my C4. The car was built on my birthday the year I retired. Look past the wife and the plate is SNKHNTR. Cobra drivers know what it means!!

Good Luck with the parts search, "Snake Hunter"...
I actually might have some extra valve stem caps. I'll need to dig thu my stash of crap...er....parts. I'll let ya know if I come up with them. Not sure if the ones I have are rounded, or pointed, but I'll look and see.

The wheel weights might be hard to find, and I wouldn't worry too much about imperfect rims. Condition points are not that much...you might loose 1-2 points for what you described. You have to factor in the return of the investment. Is it really worth $1000 to gain 1 point? Not likely.

The oil filter should still be available. Check with thepartsladi on e-bay. I've also seen them advertised from Mid America.
With the exception of the battery, the rest shouldn't be a major pain to find.
