After perusing some of the Corvette catalogs, I noticed items called route bags available for the C5 and C6 models, but none specifically for the C4.  I decided I should have one of these to store my maps and such.  I purchased an iPad sleeve bag that I could use the main pocket for maps and the front zipper pocket for my registration and insurance papers.  I then obtained an iron-on Corvette emblem from Amazon and a couple of shower razor holders from Kmart.  Removed the suction cups, drilled holes in them and pop-riveted them to the back of the bag.  I hang the bag on the edge behind the passenger seat of my C4.  (see attached pictures)

back of bag showing shaver holders (suction cups removed) pop-riveted to bag with long
part of rivet out the back to help grip the carpet preventing bag from sliding

I added a 1 inch by 8 inch piece of plastic inside for pop-rivet reinforcement.

route bag in use behind passenger seat (wanted a C4 patch but couldn't find an iron-on one)

Pretty neat idea! Does it get squashed with the seat all the way back, or is it "just right"?Thumbs Up

My wife and I are both rather short at 5' 7" or less so we usually don't have the seats all the way back, but that is a good question.  I will have to check this afternoon when I get back home.

What a great idea for the C4.  It would also be a perfect spot for the I-pad too.

If it isn't broke, I haven't fixed it yet....
