Well, it's been a little while since this forum started.....what does everyone think, so far? Any suggestions/ideas/complaints that would make it better, or more useful?
remember, this is YOU, the member's, forum. It will only be as good as you make it.
Participation is crucial....post something, even if it seems redundant, or of no value. Someone else may have an answer, or need an answer you can provide.
Take a minute to Welcome the new members each day. That seems to go a long way in making them feel at home, and more likely to join in.
Jump on in and grab a-hold! Let's get this puppy rollin!

I think it's just going to take some time for this to get rolling. Today's members have to talk about it to other C4 owners to let them know this resource is out there. Members have to post and comment when it's appropiate to generate interest. I like the way the format is laid out concerning , engine, interior, etc. all we need is traffic.

Vette(s): 87 Red Coupe, not as pretty, had 213G miles, great running engine; got 20-21 around town, 27-28 on hwy; I got to drive a Vette, every day for 6 yrs. It was my first; so now I know what the fuss is all about. (Sold it 2015 for $3000, still ran great.)
I think you've done a great job setting up the high-tech site and taking part in so many forums. I saw your site mentioned in Corvette Enthusiast magazine, as did many others, I suspect, so you'll likely see a crowd rushing in, like Black Friday or Evil Weekday or something, but the crowd is OK, since they all like Corvettes.
BTW, I'm a darn Yankee, so I can't be an authority, but I once spelled that word in an email to a bunch of guys, some of whom were real Southerners, and they b***hed back that it's "y'all" and everybody is "all y'all", so be careful, new ole friend ....

I be born & raised Texan....it's ya'll were I come from...
Not that I disagree.... but why would someone switch?
Don't think anyone was suggesting that all of the CF folks should/would "switch", just that some might visit here also. No harm in that, no? This is a fairly new site, an we would encourage all of the members here to participate in the forums. It' wasn't meant to replace any of the other forums...just another avenue for discussions on the '84-'96 Corvette.

I agree, it's not a matter of switching, just another place to hang out in the C4 world. Kinda like TV channels....lot's of variety. Many of us participate on other sites but there bound to be people that just hang here and if I can learn anything from them, share anything I know and participate in topics of interest, works for me. If you check the success of the other registries, you'll see they have grown into a pretty hard core following. In a good way.
And so far, there's no yelling, flaming or know it alls here, so that's nice
