I would like to thank all the members who commented on driving the C4 with the targa top removed from the coupe! Today I pulled the bolts lifted the top off my 95 coupe, installed the rear hatch latch bracket and went touring the country side here in Central New York. 70 degrees not a clouid in the sky, just my "better half" and I enjoying the beautiful landscape from the cockpit of the my Corvette. Car handled really well and wow what a feeling with the top removed. Anyone that is a bit concerned about removing the targa top from their C4 and driving...don't be! It is a great experience!  Talk about making you feel special, lots of heads turn and gaze!!!!!

I think we created a "monster"...LOL told you  it would be great....don't really notice much "flex" unless you drive it hard....remember it was made to be removed...and with the hatch extension....it doesn't feel like you're driving with your foot on the brake.

You can't be from Rome, NY. Only bad guys come from there.
The worst car guy in the world, lives there. Bob Lenard, is a ford freek. (a very good friend but don't tell him I said that)
Last time I was there, A Det. Grande, pulled me over just for old times sake. (30 years ago)
He must be dead by now or 90 YO.
He use to bust me for everything.
One time, I was going west in the east bound lanes of the blvd, in reverse, in a Lotus 23 race car. Yup, he got me again.
I could only do 90 or so in reverse with the gearing.
He was a good guy, in the end. Just looking out for the safty of normal folks, so he said.
Any street racing going on there now?
Don Jones, was an old time street guy in him 58 Ford. Went to the drags and brought home the tin, most times. (him)
