The sig can be "Previewed" from the Profile box, where you insert the sig. There is a box marked "Signature Preview". Clicking that will show what the sig looks like. Just be sure to also click the "Always attach my signature to posts" box "Yes", and then the "Update Profile" button at the bottom of the page. Then, on your next post, click on the "Show signature" box at the lower left, just above the "Post Reply" button.
If you don't click Yes on the "Always attach my signature to posts", and the "Show signature" boxes, the sig will not show up.
