Some of us with Vanity Plates have a story for our plates that can often rival the story behind our Vettes. As for mine I have one that says "GRN NVY" for Green with Envy. You see a friend owned the car before me, he owned "MY" car and I told him so regularly. it was my color, Polo Green. With my interior, Saddle. With my top, Targa. he kept itin immaculate condition.  Every time I saw it I would turn as green as the car with envy. i bet there are people now that feel the way you did. that's how i got my username of eddie (on the same track as your plates). i had a broncoII ( iknow a ford but i was a lot younger then) and when i was tranfering the insurance the agent said it's an eddie bauer edition. when we were leaving said to the wife lets get into eddie and everytime i referred to it it was eddie. for my birthday someone had eddie painted on the bug shield. everyone assumed it was my nbame and started calling me eddie.
