I use them every year when I store my '90 in my daughter's garage during the winter. Once it's on the dollies I rotate it and slide it to the back of her garage so she can still get her car in. They work great but it takes two people to roll it around.

But...YOU bought the house from HIM!!

Just kiddin!

As has been said, the smoother the floor, the easier they are to move around. One person can move the car if the floor is nice and smooth...painted is even better.

At least here in Texas, most, if not all garage floors have a downward grade to them...higher at the front, lower at the door end. This is done, so I've been told, to make it harder for water to make it's way into the house if you decide to wash the floors with a hose, as well as if the rain water gets a little high.
Something to consider if you're putting your car up on 16 small rollers...

at least they were smart enough to slope it towards the door. i have a detached garage and being the guy wasn't smart enough to put two doors on a two car garage he wasnt smart enough for the floor. it is basically level. thanks joel, good points to consider.
