Vette(s): 1996 LT1 Collectors Edition
Thanks for the add.  Me and the wife have owned our 1996 C4 Collectors Edition since about 2006.  It had 113,000 miles on it and had just 148K now.  Still runs like a top.  It does seem to have a small oil leak from the back of the motor somewhere because we can see the smoke coming out from under the hood when its running.  We recently had the transmission rebuilt and have replaced the water pump, radiator, alternator on the car.  Someone had removed the stock rims and replaced them with a set of OZ rims.  one of them was bet, so we recently bought a set of Z06 Rims 17/18's and put them on the car.  It also appears to have been lowered when we got it because we have seen other Collectors Editions and I could stick my whole fist between the tire and fender.  on mine, you can barely get your flat hand in there.  We added a SLP Cold Air Intake and had it Dyno'd.  It made 278 HP at the wheels.  We currently have a set of Exotic Muscle LT headers and a Borla Cat back exhaust coming for her.  I have been doing some research and discovered that the Collectors Edition had an option of a different gear ration, but I do not have the build sheet to see what the car has.  We are wanting to run a little lower gear ratio for the 1/4 mile true street class.  We are also thinking about adding a Cam and heads, but I'm going to hold off till I see what the gears and exhaust and a tune will do for her.
I own a Modded ZL1 Camaro and the wife likes to play and not sit on the sidelines.  Last season she was running high 13's (seems average for a stock LT1 Vette from what I have read).  I am sure to be picking the brains of all the C4 people here about some bolt on mods for the car.  any and all info will help out allot since we have really never considered doing anything to the car before.
