Wife was on vacation visiting her sister in MD. Current car 1998 Q45T needed PS repairs $1,800, so time for new car. Looking on Autotrader, and this popped up 1995 C4 6SP 88k for $9,200; so I bought it. I told my wife., and her response was"I'm going to Paris with Susan". After many months, we both enjoy driving it. Mods now are TB By-Pass, air box cutout, Magnaflow cat back. Mods coming are headers w/cats, 1.6 rocker arms, new Bilsteins and hard bushings. When retired (4yrs), Hot Cam, Impala SS Head Gaskets, port/polish TB and Heads. Was in a Vette Club, but too many C6/C7s.
I love my C4 because I wear it, not sit in it. To be able to do your own work with out an MIT degree helps, plus I have a local shop that does the work I can't, without a 2nd mortgage to pay for it. Only thing better would be 1966 Fasback 327/365 4SP with side pipes.
