Way too many sections in my opinion considering the number of posts, it might be a good idea later on when there is greater activity but so far I think it makes it more difficult to use.
Being organized like the service manual sounds like a good concept, but only for those who are familiar with it.  Novice users are often discouraged after buying the FSM exactly because using it is NOT intuitive!
Why not allow visitors to read forum posts without registration as most other sites do but only allow registered users to post?  If "lurkers" can see topics being discussed they may be encouraged to register and participate.

Hey.
Thanks for the suggestions.

As for the number of sections, I agree with what you are saying, however, breaking it out later is a logistical nightmare.  So I'd rather have some thin sections now and have them start filling up over time.

As for the visitors thing... technically, anyone can view the forums right now without signing up.  They just have to click the "Login as Guest" link on the login page.  That being said, the new forumware that will be installed soon will allow access to the forums WITHOUT having to do that.

Thanks again!

I keep having trouble posting.  Every so often, it says I am logged in but when I go to post, it says my account in not yet authorized and I need to follow the link in my email.

If I close my internet connection and come back into the forum, it works again for 1 post and then it starts over again.

Just thought you would like to know.

Thanks,

This may seem picky. But, every vette you show at the top LOLwith the logo have the wheels on backwards. Nothing looks dumber than saw blades or turbines when installed on the wrong side.

IMHO.

If you look at the emblems and word "Corvette" on the fronts and/or backs of these Vettes, they are correct. So that would have to mean the owner has the wheels on backwards.
