I'm 55 yrs old and finally bought my first vette after my wife told me to go for it. Car has 86K miles, everything works, no leaks.....just couldn't be happier. I bought a complete weatherstrip kit, just need to quit driving it for a bit so I can put 'em on. Also bought the factory manuals for it as I really knew nothing about corvettes, but am learning....you just have to get a set if you don't have them. Next year I'll replace carpet and seats, but they aren't too bad as is. I don't believe I'll ever part with it, love that Sebring Silver Metallic. This car can really move.

Hello and welcome!!
I have the same car and like you, love that silver colour.
You might find it hard to replace the seat covers as the CE had "Collector Edition" stitched into the headrest area. The others didn't have that and I haven't seen replacement CE seat covers offered from the usual suppliers.
Enjoy the car for the summer and replace the weatherstrips in the winter when you need that Covette "fix" while waiting for the warmer weather! (Unless you live in the much warmer parts of North America!)
