Vette(s): 1987 coupe red/saddle, low mile highly optioned, owner-restored trophy winner.

My Corvette is a highly optioned 1987 with 47k actual miles on the clock. I am the third owner, and I did the restoration in my garage. The build date is September of 1986. It was sold new to a doctor by Jack Matia Chevrolet in Elryia, OH. I spoke with the original owner (after much coersion) and he told me that it was his gift to himself for completing his education, but that he seldom drove it. The original owner relocated to state of NC and sold it to the second owner with around 20k miles. The second owner is also a doctor. He moved to Augusta, GA to complete his residency at a local teaching hospital. He put approximately 12k miles on it and parked it, OUTSIDE, where it sat for years to rot away. I bought it with 32k miles and saved it's life. I really believe that everything has an entity and that it is finally happy in all it's glory. The miles I have accrued are from driving it to shows and events and the occasional trip around town. I hope you enjoy this.....

THANKS! Comments like that make the effort worthwhile, you know? Noah is only nine months old, but by the time he can drive, it should be worth a little more. And if he doesn't grow up and share our passion for Corvettes I can sell it to pay for my funeral. DeadLOL

Vette(s): 87 Red Coupe, not as pretty, had 213G miles, great running engine; got 20-21 around town, 27-28 on hwy; I got to drive a Vette, every day for 6 yrs. It was my first; so now I know what the fuss is all about. (Sold it 2015 for $3000, still ran great.)
That really is a wonderful car.  Beautifully done, too.  (My 87 red one is not restored, but still looks pretty good for 140,000 miles and I drive it 90 miles a day to work.  Not bad driving a Corvette, huh?)  It's nice to see what these looked like when they were new.  Thanks for that.
