Here's my 1994 Black Rose 6spd Coupe:

For several years I considered getting a sports car/toy. After toying with different directions (and after a brief period with a POS Dodge Stealth RT/TT), I finally decided on getting a Vette. Now it was only a matter of which one. I'd always liked the C3's, so I started looking at them. However, what found was either tired affordable cars or really nice expensive ones. After being given some sound advice that for the money a C4 was a much better car, I switched to the C4.
I really started looking in fall of 2004 and figured it would take me a year or two find one. I really wanted three things: 1) A coupe, 2) a manual, and 3) something other than red or black. In October, I found the 94 Black Rose 6spd Coupe at a local GM dealer (Hubbards in Monticello, IN). It had a few miles, but the car looked in good shape, inside and out, and seemed to run great.
Since then, I've been going through and fixing what's gone wrong: Optispark (and water pump), clutch slave cylinder, and clutch. I've replaced the rims with aftermarket C5 Z06 style, which goes well with the Black Rose.
In addition to the joy of owning the car, I've become very active in the local NCCC club and have participated in many of the local car shows.

Hello from another Indiana guy. Nice car.
great color and those wheels really set it off. Looking good!
Thanks! I agree. When I got the car, the wheels on the driver side were peeling. Deciding I wanted a little different look for the car, I decided on just replacing the rims rather than repairing the OEMs. The black version of these wheels looked nice, but I didn't care for the dark car + dark rims combo.
I get a lot of positive comments about the color.

Black Rose is one of my favorite colors, mostly because you rarely see one. SWEET RIDE...!!!
