Anyone interested in the 1988-1989 Corvette Challenge, should check out the Corvette Museum link that follows:

Great info for C4 owners about a unique time in Corvette Racing.I plan to drive my C4 to the event and am doing a presentation on the Corvette Challenge "how it all came about....."
Schedule may change a little, but should include many people of that era.

There was a bunch of those cars at Carlisle, last year(?). I have some pictures of some of them. We stopped at the museum on our way to Fla last year and frankly, a little disappointing...1,000,000th is just another white C4. Factory wasn't open because it was Friday. Who knew?
Nobody responded to my suggestion to meet after the Gator Nats, maybe you'll have better luck with a gathering.

I would like to thank 396C4 for coming to the C4/ZR-1 Gathering and passing out C4VR business cards and trying to make people that drive our cars aware of this site. And he is one nice guy! He was out here today really busting his balls in a Hawaiian shirt pushing this site. He deserves one big round of applause from every one. Jeff

Adam emailed me a logo with the registry site on it so I had business cards made to hand out. Just as well because it would have been difficult to go thro the paperwork. I deputized a couple of other guys including Mike-golf with a bunch of cards so I hope they caught some others as well. I'm sure it appeared like I was selling something and we all know how that is when somebody comes calling. Generally the guys were very receptive so I hope some of them actually join in.
General comment was people were looking for a site but weren't aware of this one so I guess we need everyone to spread the word to grow the membership and with that will come knowledge and perspective.
Personally, I met Jim Watson from Blairsville, Georgia (embarrassingly introduced myself twice) but he's someone I would hope joins in. Hands on guy who worked GM dealership and GM production during his career. He's got a corvette shop in his semi-retirement and someone I think you could trust to work on your stuff. He calls it "Performance Concepts" (706)-781-6789. We bench raced all kinds of stuff in the short time we chatted but I hope to run into him again at some point.

I did wear my C4 Registry shirt for my Thursday Presentation, and also have a picture of my C4 in front of the Plant sign....note the C4 Registry sticker on the rear hatch glass.
Glad there was a chance to spread the message; a great place to get information or ask questions.

Nice Sticker!

So, how many people would you say were in attendance this year?
