I was looking at this for 47.00 plus shipping it states that it increases horsepower by 11 which I know is bull shit but any experts out there that this may help in any way or is it just snake oil salesmanship.  Take care!!!

This is a picture of the part it installs in the middle of
the TPI.  Sorry for the bad pic.  It was Corvette Mods not Corvette America.

Why would you trust anyone who you know is lying to you?

I am confused by your statement I did not talk to anyone it was a statement made on the web site about the product I was curious to see if any member has purchased one of these and did it help in other ways, idling, etc. It's like using 70 dollar air filters they do not increase horsepower but many buy them.  Thanks for your input.

These things help smooth airflow past the hollow section in the center of the throttle body...they do that job nicely. I doubt you will be able to feel any noticeable increase in power, but it does show on a dyno. How much it helps depends a lot on any other possible engine mods. Are they worth the $$$? That's up to the end user.

Thank you that is what I was looking for an opinion backed up with a fact and then it is up to the individual in the long run.

Didnít the LS engines starting in 1997 come with that on the front of the intake? If so, it seems like maybe the GM engineers thought it was worth while.
